After a Stroke Seminar
“The Road Back Is All Up Hill”

This is the title of one of Alan’s seminars concerning rehabilitation following a catastrophic injury like a stroke. Alan Simms shares his personal hiatus into the trials and tribulations of rehabilitation through his experience of one, who but for the grace of God, would not be here to share. His tips, tactics, and trial and error methods are all part of getting back to the being the real you.

“Trouble tends to make things real clear...trouble will sweep away the clutter…
And leave you with the stark reality of do or die!”

“Deciding whether to go on living, or to die– I learned once again-that decisions are all we really own in this life. Our decisions are ours to make. The Stroke made it ever so more clear to me, that we don’t necessarily control the consequences of our decisions, but we live our lives by how we Choose.”

His talks are designed to give you a reason to try. In fact, that is the focus on these presentations, along with a mixture of humor and stories that are easy to identify with. The goal is motivation, inspiration, and making the decision to be excellent and keep YOU!

Alan has appeared on the Steve Adabato show, served on various panels, Health fairs, as well as appearing on the “Community Health Watch" television show in the
Metropolitan area. His personal testimony brought the impact of stroke to life.

I Could Understand Why Some Wouldn’t Try.
It’s all those little things we take for granted that get to you most.
I’m still on the road back. I’ve been given another space of
time to discover, again, what I knew, before. But this time, there
will be no taking life, and skills for granted!
